The MPHS is a group of collectors with a mutual interest in military mail – the envelopes that were used to send letters by or to soldiers, sailors, airmen, etc., usually during some sort of conflict. Our members are, thus, students of world history, with interest that range from the Napoleonic Wars of the early 1800's to the latest United Nations peacekeeping efforts in Kosovo at the beginning of the 2000's.

In that sense, we are kindred spirits who enjoy communicating with each other, sharing information and discussing insights through physical and electronic mail and in person at our semi-annual meetings, that are held in various parts of the United States of America.

If you are interested in military postal history in any form, you should consider becoming a member. It doesn't cost much, and the quarterly MPHS Bulletin is crammed with interesting articles, useful information and enlightening data.

Check with Ed Dubin for details.
